Materials

Method Production of Water-Filled Barriers

Water filled barrier production process is divided into two types:

Rotational molding, also known as rotational molding and rotational casting, is a method for hollow molding of thermoplastic plastics. Since the rotational molding speed is not high, the product has almost no internal stress, is not prone to deformation, dents and other defects, and has a flat, smooth and colorful surface. The cost will be higher based on this process.

Blow molding is a method for manufacturing hollow thermoplastic parts. Commonly used raw materials include polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride and thermoplastic polyester, etc., and can also be mixed with recycled materials, waste materials, etc. The cost will be cheaper than the rotational molding process.

Purpose Of Using Water Filled Barriers

Separated guide lanes: vehicles can drive along the route surrounded by water barriers, avoiding pedestrians effectively, improving safety performance, and clearly indicating the driving route.

Buffering protection: the inside of the water barrier is hollow, and water or sand can be added to increase its own weight, making it more stable when placed on the road, and effectively resisting the movement of external forces.

Other aspects: they can be used for temporary crowd control, control vehicle flow, prevent the impact of riots, or separate or guide traffic on road projects or temporary walkways. They can play a role in diversion and protection in crowded places, reducing the input of police force.
